Ultimate call to contribute for our students 2016/2017

In this post we let our students for the course 2016/2017 introduce themselves

With your help this year the first steps towards their dreamed future will come true!!

I am Hugues Joseph, I was born on the 21st of November 1991 so now I am 24 of age. I live in Kay-Kok, Ile a Vache
Dear sponsor in the name of the almighty I greet you warmly.
I am very happy that I can write this introduction of myself.
I am a boy, born at Ile-à-Vache. Since my 10th year, I dream of becoming a master mason. I long to learn a profession, but a lack of economic resources in life causes that I am all the time primarily concerned with survival as breadwinner. I've been so long looking for a friend who can help me to realize my dream. But until last year I could not find such a person. And now I suddenly found you !! Frankly, it's a small disaster to have to meet life without having a profession, while I think with a real profession that I can achieve the things I would want.
I come from a family of 8 people. My mother, my father and six children, all boys and no girls. I am the oldest of the children. My parents have been married since 1998.
Because I'm still young, I would be very happy if you would help me to build a future in which I can earn my bread for me and my family-members.
I want to advance a very warmly thank you for taking the trouble to help me achieve my goal, and I also want to thank you very much for your understanding, your wisdom and your effort. I ask Our Lord to protect you.

I am Jeanel Jean.I was born on 9th of April 1989
I live in Kay-Kok, Ile-à-Vache
Dear Mrs. Mr.,
I am incredibly happy that I can write this short letter. Since my birth I live with my parents. They are not married, and we are with five children, one boy and four girls.
Since my childhood I have been a goalkeeper. My parents always stimulated me to be an active sportsman. But unfortunately you cannot earn any money with that. So therefore I must surely acquire a profession. Since a couple of years, I want to become an electrician. I choose this profession because I believe  on Ile a Vache can earn my money with it. My parents are not able to pay for my studies, so if you would be able to help me, my parents as well as I would be very glad about that.
If I have my will be a graduated electrician, I would love to work on my island.
I wish you and yours all the best. I count on you and I am very grateful.

I am  Peterson Dorestant, I was born 10 June 1995 (so I am now 21)
I live in Kay-Kok, lle-à-Vache.

Dear Mr. and Ms !
I was born in a family of nine, three brothers and six sisters. My mother is called Renette Exant and my father Dieusel Dorestant.
I am the fifth in the row of the children. My mom lives in St. Jean, in the south of Haiti, and my father lives here at Ile-à-Vache and I live with him. My parents are divorced since 2001 and because of those circumstances, I am living here with my dad at Ile-à-Vache.
I have all my life dreamed to become a football player, but I have never had the opportunity to pursue this dream further, because for this purpose Haiti lacks the organization. That's why I'm finished Highschool.
To my great delight I managed to come into your program, which I hope will help me to learn a profession. I'm very motivated for it. Because I've seen the tremendous devastation caused by the earthquake of January 12, 2010 and I really want to participate in the physical reconstruction of my country, that is why I chose to become an electrician. From this perspective, I would like to sincerely thank you for your help and I am very grateful if you want to continue to support me in the future. .
I offer you, Madam, Sir, my sincere feelings of gratitude.

Dear friend,
How are you ?
I am Julio Placide, son of Mrs. Locitha Placide. Since I was born she has been a mother and a father for me. She raised me and she gave me an basic education, which has not been easy for she was not able to get a job while she is in a wheelchair because she cannot walk. My mother has lived her entire live on her own and she learned me to be respectful towards other people.
My dream is to finish a school and to learn an profession with which I will be able to earn my living and to provide for my mother as well, but meanwhile I lost my hope to make this dream come true. My mother did everything she could, I can read and write, but she could not help me to reach the educational level that was my ambition because she did not have the money for that. My mother is growing older now, she had sacrificed all her time to me, and I feel it is my turn now to make her happy, but I am not able to even begin to earn a living for the both of us.
At one time I was sitting and thinking about these things, when Nickenson* saw me and asked me what the problem was. So I explained to him and then he told me about your program that was meant for those who lacked the money to acquire new competences, and that I could join to do the test. So I joined and I did the test and I ended up in the first group. I think this is my one and only chance to find somebody that could help me to learn a profession. I am willing to work hard if I was given the opportunity to study at last. I would love to become a refrigeration technician.
I hope you will understand my circumstances,
Julio Placide

My dear supporter,
Today I have the great pleasure of writing you this message to tell you about me.
Is was born as a daughter in our family, consisting of my father, my mother and 10 children. No one of us is married.
Since I was very small I have had this dream of becoming a hairdresser, to work as such preferably in my native village of Ile a Vache. I dream of contributing to our community and founding my own studio in Ile a Vache, so that the islanders do not need to go over to Les Cayes for their hairdo.  So now I am really very happy to find somebody that will help to let my dream become true and I thank you so much for this.
I want to end this letter to thank you again for offering me the opportunity to realize this very big dream of mine
Thank you,
Marie Legena Vital

Dear friends,
I am Jean Renol Placide. How are you? I am so glad to be able to write you this small letter to introduce myself.
I was born in a family of 7 children, and since I was very young I loved sports. Now that I am grown up plumbing attracted my attention and I would be very glad to receive a training as a professional plumber. But in view of the economical circumstances of our family, lacking a father, it is not possible to provide for such education. Being the oldest child I would be very glad if I could become a professional plumber, which will enable me to ameliorate the critical circumstances of our family. I beg you to help me to find a kind person that would give me the opportunity to be trained for that profession.
After graduating I would like to return to Ile a Vache to protect and to help my fellow islanders as a plumber (lack of clean water is a big problem in Ile a Vache).
I am very grateful that there are people in Holland or elsewhere, that in cooperation with the crew of Bella Ciao try to help the people of Ile a Vache.
I would like to thank you very much,
Jean Renol Placide.
