To all supporters of our project from Mirlande Dupaliste

Good day to you, dear supporter!

How are you, your activities, your family? It is with a heart full of joy that I write you this letter, to thank you for the support you gave me this academic year 2017/2018.

Thanks to your help this has become the best year of my whole life! As you know already I am Mirlande Dupaliste. I don’t know how to thank you for your help. In the past years life has been very hard for me, while I had no profession. I have asked myself so many times what I should do at my age without a proper profession.  The situation was that complicated that I asked God to give me a chance to learn a profession….and then the project Stichting Studiehulp Kay-Kok appeared to choose me to learn a profession. It has been such a big day for me when I understood that the project offered me the chance to learn the profession of ‘Patisserie and Decoration’. This was really my one and only chance to learn these professions.

Now that I am graduated and acquired my diploma, I will start to go to several institutions hoping to find work there.

My parents were not able to do for me what you have done, so therefore I consider you as a kind of parents for me. I am so grateful you made this effort for me. The project Studiehulp Kay Kok as very well known in Ile a Vache, and I really hope that you will not become discouraged to keep on helping students from our island as you have helped me.  I hope that God will protect you for all your life and that He will bless you

Congratulations to our first graduate 2018

Last Friday the first of 3 of our students that will finish their studies in 2018, graduated: Rose Mirlande Dupaliste  recieved her certifcate and she is now a master of decoration and patisserie. Her examination project that she shows us on the picture to the left, demonstrates what this means.         

We want to congratulate Rose Mirlande with her certificates, both of which show her talents as a master cuisinier: she finished the basic course as well as the specialization part, to become a master decorator, with the qualification "very good". 

How well deserved these qualifications are we can easily see when we look at the picture of her masterpiece! We only regret that we are not there to taste it.We hope this will help Rose Mirlande to build up a future in which she can make a living as a chef!
